If the pressure and relief valves are working properly, then I am afraid that chequebook time is approaching. Never had to do a pump in any of my Hydro tractors (656,70,and 86). However, the 86 was purchased used, and although it had a 310, the old 282 would outpull it with not working too hard. When I traded the 86 in 2001, I wrote on the contract that the transmission was defective. Here in Quebec, if you sell or trade a vehicle with a known or hidden defect, the seller is liable!! The tractor was purchased by a farmer who used it to blow snow, grind feed, and power a corn drier. I told the selling dealer that the unit would be OK for that, just do not try to pull a heavy load. The tractor has yet to be repaired. QR
