I've never been around those utility tractors, but I can tell you if you are using the same hydraulic source for both purposes, you have to have a flow divider behind the pump and ahead of the load(s) to insure that the power steering gets priority, while at the same time providing power for your hitch.

Just running a "T" won't work because one load will rob function from the other.

If you have the factory "live" pump, then it sounds like you just need the flow divider valve plumbed in ahead of that power steering.
