In some parts of country Mississippi Delta for instance it is unusual for owner or even farm manager to actually operate equipment. The operation is left to hired hands and half of crew may turnover every year and they do not take care of equipment like owner operators. Some of these operations are well funded and quite sucessfull financeialy though. Have seen many of these tractors go through sale in Sikeston MO (after they were traded for new ones)and be bought by Midwestern buyers.
