Are you completely rebuilding the engine or did I miss an earlier post ? If you are doing a complete rebuild I'm guessing you are having a machine shop work over your rods and crank ? You should . Any way if that's the way you're doing it put them back in in order with the new piston's/sleeves , That goes along with all the suggestions everyone else made here . It just is a reasurance to me that when I open an engine up and see that it's been rebuilt that the rebuilder was fussy about how it was put together . Neatness counts .
