I'm right there with you spray004. I inherited a 4020 from my great uncle with holes in the block from a thrown rod when I was 9. Already had been a few years sitting when I got it now I'm 17 and just last spring put a 7700 combine engine in it. Me and my buddy went to my grandmas place to mess around with the tractors. They had all sat 3 years since my grandpa died. His MF1100 of all tractors started on its own batteries right away. Next was the Ford 961D which he messed with the starter switch and all that wiring haven't looked into that yet; jumper cables from the battery to starter does it for now. My dad had a Super W6 with carb problems we let set in the back of the barn for 10 years then finally got some ambition to fix it over the summer when we realized we had 2 working tractors out of all of them. Just made the SW6 run consistently a couple of nights ago. Oh yea still have the ford 1000 loader that has bent rods in the bucket cylinders. But I have lots of fun fixin and playin around with all this stuff and to have em running again is even better. JaredM
