As I understand it the N in BN stands for narrow. This is in reference to the rear wheel width and axle and housing length. A BN's right hand seat bracket fastens directly to the flange on the outer end of the axle housing similar to an A. On a B there is a stand off bracket that the right side seat bracket fastens to. There is a space between the fender and seat bracket that represents half of the difference in width between the B and BN as the other side axle and housing is also longer. I'm not sure of the overall difference in width but it's something like 6 inches. This was to accomadate different crop row spacing. There may be other differences but I don't know of any. Good Luck.
