If the brazing is on the clamp and suction tube, thats the way it should be. The clamp when its new holds the tube tight but after a few years it doesn't hold it tight and the tube can move when it shouldn't. If you get the complete rebuild kit and the clutch discs (7 fiber and 9 steel discs), that should be all you need other than the 540 shaft and possibly the bearing. If the 2 teflon seals on the drum are not damaged, leave them alone, and just use them over. Check the bore in the center section that the drum and 1000 shaft is in to make sure that there are no goves where the seals ride. If there are then the seals will leak and won't be able to get the pressure high enough. A rebuilt center is available through Ag Parts. Make sure after the pto goes back in that the pressure gets set up to about 250 to 300 psi. I've rebuilt more pto's than I care to imagine and seen about anything that can happen to an IH pto, so if there are any questions don't be afraid to ask.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
