560 head??

i bought a 560 gas, it had been overhauled but cant find out much about it. just that the farmer who had it said it had lot more power than it did before, the hood is cut out for larger exhaust, i measured it and has a 806 exhaust, my question is how can i check head numbers to see if it a 806 head, {had a new head also} cant find anything on # on forum. i hate to tear down to find out. thanks for help and a happy new year.
