Plowed for years with 3-14 FH model 311 on a 460. Rolled along in 2nd high side but often had to pull her back into low torque. Very steep ground around here and heavy limestone clay. Neighbor had a 5-bottom semi mounted on his 560 and rolled in 2nd high-I always thought it was turned up a tad & had 3 sets of weights. 2nd high is a little over 4 mph on these-nice speed to roll sod. The type of bottom plays a big roll in how hard a plow pulls as well as soil type. Also have a 4-bottom that pulls easier than the 3 bottom, but it tears & ripples sod & it takes more trips to get the ground in order! Pay me now or pay me later. If a plow pulls hard, it probably is doing a good job.
