Tyler, I am restoring a Farmall Cub right now. Last Friday I just put mine back together. First you need to block up the front of the tractor as this is the wide front mount. I think it is best if you remove the wide front, although you may be able to do it without removal. There are five bolts that hold the whole assembly together. There is a locating pin that can give you trouble getting this lower unit out. The whole unit then drops out the bottom including the steering gear. You might want to replace the steering shaft seal while you have it apart as this is another leak source. If you do that, I would rotate the steering gear 180 degrees to get new teeth meshing with the steering worm gear for reduced steering wheel play. Then you can clean off the old gasket and put on a new one. The local Case IH/NH dealer had a gasket in stock for me. Again, basically that lower steering unit just slips in from the bottom. Roger
