Assuming you've properly pre-lubed everything, when you get it put together, leave the spark plugs out & spin the engine over with the starter until you get oil pressure. This makes sure the oil pump is primed prior to first starting the engine. Engine assembly lube is fine for bearings, just coat the cylinders & pistons with oil when you assemble them.
