My connected load was about 25KW, as was my entrance from the electrical utility. My brother installed this for me complete with double throw switch, so I couldn't accidentally put power back out on the grid.

The only advice I got or ever needed with this unit was give it a workout at least every two months for 12 hours. I was told that condensation within an operating dairy barn will cause coroding in these units. My unit had an anti condensation device connected to power 24-7. Frank (my brother) said," That is not good enough, nothing will replace exercise for this unit in the dairy barn." I did as I was told and really never had any problems. Just a thought, maybe your unit needs a good workout.

I know my unit always gave the 656D a good workout when we were milking, cooling, silo unloaders running, Marg. doing her thing at the house, etc. When that 282 diesel is working hard, whatever is connected to the shaft must be getting a workout.
