The question originated because the chassis serial was missing. Pat has an engine and chassis serial list for many of the Super H's and determined that most, if not all have 2xxx (I forget his number) between the chassis and engine serials. The chassis serial of the tractor in question was determined from the engine serial making it a late 1953, yet it has a Z (1954) torque tube. My initial response was that you can't have Z castings on a 1953 tractor, and thought the engine had been replaced before Pat gave the explanation above.
