The 39H styling changed around FBH 15???, and the M around FBK 9??? I don't have my parts book here, so I cant confinrm the numbers.. I did have 2 sets of H steel at one time, one set was the older and lighter casting, and the other the newer and heavier casting.. The casting dates were 4 days apart, and if I remember right, dates were 3/11/42 and 3/15/42.. I have a feeling that around this date, is when most "model year" changes were made, but without true documentation we may never know for sure..
