Well, after timing the engine it runs, barely. I can get the tractor to run at low idle with some missing but when I try and give it gas it backfires and sputters out. It sounds like its pulling very hard as it tries to accelerate but then dies off very quickle. If I don't throttle back down the motor dies. I pulled apart the carb just before putting it back on and checked the float/seat and tried to clean out all the little holes. I can verify the carb is getting plenty of gas to it as the line is clean, the gas is fresh, and when the drain is opened on the carb plenty of gas flows out. Anyhow, I'm kinda stumped with the tractor now. If you may remeber from a posting of mine from last week. The magbeto on this tractor is an H4 with the 10 degree spark and not the 35 degree rotation that most H4s have. This very well may be the problem but I have no way of testing it against a regular H4.
