After mine has sat for any amount of time, I do this FIRST:
-open the petcock on the fuel bowl of the carb. If no fuel comes out, I've got a few minutes of canking until the pump gets the fuel up. When it starts running out, close the petcock and choke NO MORE THAN 2 CRANKS. Open choke and it fires right off. Worth a try...
