Getting harder to find Machine shops, SO I guess the ones left get to jack up the labor.
You should have seen the differential on prices I was told for a engine rebuild.
$1800 was the lowest and $6000 was the highest.

The shop charges $25 to hot dip and magnaflux. I might have to keep my eye out for some old machine tools and learn how to do it my self.
