It was a Super A. No slight intended against your jack puller there but if it isn't 1/2' steel and solid box with hardened struts, it wouldn't have helped on this one. And even if it is that good, I dont think a 5 ton jack would have broken it free. I've pulled a ton of pullys, hubs, gears, bushings, sheaves, you name it, even very big stuff on old beaten, rusted earth moving equipment and this one just flat out had a curse on it. I have never been "nearly beaten" this bad. scott#2
