I had a 24 mounted on a M used it for 2 or 3 years was a good picker if the corn was not dry.Usually you could pick in the morning as long as there was some dew on the stalks. With no husking bed the ears got pretty dirty by afternoon. Yes you will need hyd, to raise and lower the front snouts.Should work good on a H.
