Scrub with mineral spirts and put down floor dry BUT DON"T DO THAT WHEN THE FURNACE IS ON you just may enlarge your shop . I could make some real big messes and i would use floor dry to get the most up that i could and when it got warm enough to put the fire out and open the doors i would take about a half gallon and pour it on the floor and use the shop broom and scrub a bit and cover with floor dry about and hour later sweep it up and the floor was spotless.
