What I would do is fill the cylinder with tranny fluid and let it sit a few days. I'm guessing you have pulled the head off since you say things about the rust in there. Tranny fluid for some reason sees to get in and past the rust to loose thing up where any thing else I have tried just sat there and id nothing. I've popped more then one engine loose useing tranny fluid or turpentine. Have 2 on the place that sat for 15-25 years locked up and they run now and I never pulled the head on either one of them
