Dick: I agree with you whole heartedly, however it is close to 20 years since I did the last one, thus I just don't remember the exact measurment. I will give you a guess, just to see how close I come when someone does post the exact figure. My guess is 5/16" by 9/16". The only ones I have ever rebuilt are H, 300 probably 3 times, 560 and a couple of offsets. I'm thinking all H, M, 300, 400, 460, 560, etc. are the same. Offsets and C through 240 may be slightly smaller. I never did record the size of shift lever at the time, but rather went to size of notch in the shift rail of each tractor. I just don't know if they are all the same, not even positive of the ones, that I suggested might be the same.
