They would have an extra hole in the hood on the magneto/distributor side for the gasoline tank. Or would still have the 1 gallon gasoline starting tank. Suffix for distillate is X17 (or none at all as in the case of my H)
Suffix for kerosene is X3 If it has an X1 suffix it would have been a gas burner.
