Indiana requires a CDL for vehicles 26,000+ and air brakes. Different classifications for different vehicles though,,, Say like for a straight truck, with air brakes, no trailer, that falls under a class B licence. Class a is 26k+lbs, with air brakes with one trailer. If you dont have air brakes, and stay off the highways that have scales, or lots of bears running around, and under 26k, you might be ok,, but, you are not in Indiana!! I agree with tagging the vehicle as an RV,,, Most pullers who buy those big fancy rigs to haul their tractors get away with it, never been close up to those trucks to know why that is,,, if it has air brakes, shouldnt it require CDL's?
