Steven: I will tell you exactly same as a welder once told me about those IH 3 bolt cast wheels. I went to him with one of those cast wheels off my 300, broken. When I got there he was so drunk he couldn't get out of his chair. He said, "If you keep those IH wheels tight between rim and hub, there is no man alive tough enough to stay with the tractor long enough to break one". He further said, "Go away, come back tomorrow night and your wheel will be fixed". I did and he did. That was around 1961 and the wheel is still on the 300 and the 300 still has a loader on it. In fact now it has the 2000 loader that came off my 560. By the way, when I returned for the wheel the next night, he was still so drunk he couldn't get out of the chair. He had a big lazy boy in his shop, for his lighter moments, I guess.
