Fixed (Finally) thanks

My old 1466 has been kicking my but for the last couple of days. The front steering/brake pump has been weak and I finally decided to replace it. While I had the MCV off I went through it and I appreciate the help from Allen and the Tractor Vet. The trouble is, after I put it back together it howled like a smashed cat!!!! To make a long story short, I finally discoved the gear that came with the pump had thicker gear teeth. Even though I still had gear lash, the teeth did not match the gear on the PTO. I changed the gear and now it purs like a kitten. My final question on this matter. Can you wear out hydraulic fluid by continuosly draining it out and pouring it back in?? ;) Thanks for the help.
