Don my dad has a 47 and that one is 1968 model. The 37, 47, and 57 were made the same time. I don't know how many years they were made. The 47 has been a very good baler. We use to bale 6000 bales a year with it with very little trouble. It is still used today a little bit. I bought a 435 6 years ago for 500 bucks. The 435 is a little nicer baler. It works a lot better in corn stalks, than the 47.
