PAULIH300 or anyone...need some IH expertise

Thanks for the information. I adapt hydrostatic steering to these tractors as the unit bolts up and sets right on top of the steering gear box. So the steering box is only used as a mount. The sector gears are left in place, however. And the front wheels are steered by hydraulic cylinders, so there is no need to rebuild the steering gear box. I recently purchased an IH 300 to build steering and I like it so well that I am going to keep it. The motor is in great shape as is the hydraulics. But the clutch and the TA need to be rebuilt. I am looking forward to that project! Anyway, I will repaint it, replace the seat...and use it to mow around Camp Jackson. It will be restored for use only. I will post pictures soon.
