I rescently rebuilt my govenor and put it back in, and just wanted to check if I timed it right. The govenor gear that meshes in with the engine had one little black dot on it. I meshed that with the "O" on the other gear. Below the "O" were some part numbers. (I don't know the inside of a farmall engine. Is that the camshaft or crankshaft or what?) Also on there was another small mark on the camshaft gear. I don't remember exactly what the second mark looked like. But it was only one small mark without partnumbers next to it. Do you think I timed it to the right one? It starts up? I guess I could just check and see at TDC does the rotor appear to be in the right place. Thanks for any suggestions.
