Yes Kelly, it can be done. Got a 706 just like that and thought about adding the hitch when I went through the rear end several years ago, but ran out of time and $$$. Your transmission cover will not have any of the hitch valves installed. Getting a complete transmission cover/rockshaft assembly from a junkyard or parts machine would be the way to go.
