But the powerstroke is Navistar. I wanna keep believing..... Dodge is owned by Daimler. Remember 1939-1945??? or1914-1918????. Yea, I know... Had a 5.9 in a CIH 2096. Excellent motor. Only problem was 3 water pumps in 4500+ hours. Do not know why. Never leaked or had a wobble or anything. That 2096 was a 4x4. On the identical field cultivator, my 1086 with duals could not pass it. (nor could the 2096 pass the 1086). But the 5.9 sure took less fuel. Had a 3.9 in a Maxxum. Ran to 6000 hours+ with O problems. Started a lot harder than the 5.9. Started better when we set it to 105 HP. Pulled up hills better too.......QR
