I have never had a cub apart so that is definatly some good info, I am going to pick up a book, Just havent yet, I have lots of books but not the cub yet,, I think i may do that just swap out the whole rear end assy, thanks pat, and thanks fo rthe info on the hood, the hood on the 48 is actually pretty mint, but it is good to know, like alot of the other tractors I bought as "spares" they always end up only needing a little to make them good tractors,, my wife still keeps me around tho, haha thanks,pat
