Put your ohm meter on the 20 setting and put one lead on the nub where the coil cap hits and one lead on the lead wire where it hooks to the condenser. It should read 9.6 or higher up to about 12.7 if its non exestance or below those #s replace the coil. Last year my replacement coils were about 12.7 this year they seem to be about 10.7 to 11.2 must be the manufacture has changed the windings or something anything under 10.7 is actually getting weak I guess. I have all parts nessisary for H4s if you need them. JON
