If the head has been removed to replace the stud, (and I assume not started) I would use copper coat spray on both sides of the "used" gasket and go for it. If it was sealed down the firat time, and came apart with pieces on both head and block, I would not use it. If it was stuck to one side and the other came claen, I would use Copper coat on that side and use it. If the stud was replaced without removing the head, I would just torque the stud, and run it. May it be just fine. JimN
