I had, and still am, considering using eBay as a loss-leader, just as Walmart does with gasoline. I would sell high demand items at or below cost occasionally just to direct traffic to my website. (Don't have one yet) It actally would be very similar to what I did with Bob's diagrams when I put them up on eBay - it directed them to his website. You might consider selling parts for mags, for instance, occasionally at bargain prices to draw traffic.
