1066 Stupid ?#23

Thanks Allan for the info on index marks. I didn't know that. I ordered service manual today and they said it would take 3 weeks to get here. I am flying by the seat of my pants until then.
I was wandering after reading your response if the rockshaft will need replaced. I guess I am asking is this the case more often then not. It is a gamble either way I go but not wanting to do it twice and hate to waste $$$ if rarely needs done. Bushings seem that they would not normally wear out but I do not know any way to tell unless rockshaft is out and mike both surfaces and compare to specs.
ANy thoughts or comments???
