Sooo.....is it a 245 or 231 ??

I cant find a parts diagram or listing for either one on the caseih site...nor does Binder Books have a manual listed for one...I can go the used route for a manual but want to be pretty sure before ordering...

Thanks for the replies

Dave

It is a 231 or earlier model.... As I said before.... I have one just like it as well as the manual for it... Could use some fertilizer boxes though.

The 231 and an unknown (to me) earlier model are identical, except that the 231 will not adjust to anything less than like 36" row spacing... The earlier model will go down to 28" I believe.

The 202 / 203 / 205 series planters are very similar to the pre 231. Drill shaft and seed box drives are the same... Frame is the same... Just doesn't have a trip clutch but rather a seat and manual depth adjustment lever as they are horse drawn.
