Tony: Tim said his will NOT start at +30 degrees and that is way too warm to blame just the cold for not starting. There was a couple hundred thousand model C's (regular & Super) and IHC didn't sell poor starting tractors even with 6 volts. I'll guess that both of you need to do some more general tune-up work. Everything related to starting should be examined (not just looked at) to see if its doing the job it was intended to do. Don't trust battery cables just because they "look good" but rather measure the voltage at the starter while under load..etc That sort of "detailed" exam need to be done sometimes on these old tractors every 40 years or so.. Our Farmall always started even at minus 25 degrees below..so 30 degrees above is no problem..if you do a proper and COMPLETE tune-up..best of luck in your tune up..harvey
