Was snooping around the shop at Dordals wile I was dropping off the crank for my 706 yeasterday. Mike was in there putting some rings in a M. So of course I start with the what this and the why that questions. then I noticed the deck on the block was as shinny as could be. I asked how do you do that? Seeing as I am putting the head back on my 300. I though that would be a good question. He showed me what he used. Little disks not quite a grinding disk. Sort of a scrubber ( like for dishes) but these have some light abrasive in them. He asked if I had a die grinder. I said I do. He gave me an arbor and a few disks. Ewwww I like this. Really works gret on the deck and I also used it on the manafold.
