The X1 designation means you have a gasoline only engine. 8043 is not in my parts book, it is apparantly a gasoline head, the part number had changed by the time my book was printed. As I implied earlier, the later heads will have R part numbers (I think). Someone else who knows the H heads better than I do can give a definite answer.
