First, does pulling the TA lever back fix the hard shifting out of gear? If not, then I doubt the fault lies in the TA adjustment. If it does, then adjusting the TA clutch might help some.

If not, then I’m going to speculate that the flywheel and pressure plate are worn to the point that the clutch disk is hanging up or “suctioning” itself to either the pressure plate or the flywheel which is a common issue especially with button (or dyna-life) clutches.

If the TA is adjusted properly and you still have problems, you can try shifting out of gear just before you come to a complete stop, this might make it easier on you and the shift lever.
