F-20 throttle levers

I have 2 39 F-20s. Both have the variable speed
governor with the push-pull lever. On the earlier one the lever stops at the back of the fuel tank. On the later one it goes back to the
steering post/seat bracket area and has a bracket
to hold it. My parts book doesn't show the parts for either style. I'm wondering if anyone has a different version of the parts book that may show when this was changed. My early one is in the 132,000 range and the later is 139,000.
So it was changed somewhere in between. I'd like to know what serial # it was changed at.
