Naw you don"t need to take the lift-all out. I"ve replace two or three of those seals without taking anything out. You just gotta be careful and hold your mouth right when working the tranny input shaft around after you get the flex joint taken apart. I"ve replaced those seals both in under two hours doing it that way.
