Battery post sizes

Here's a simple one.
I want to replace the battery cables on my H. I'm leaning toward ordering a set of ready made, original style from Brillman, had good results with their spark plug wires and don't want to make them myself. Will require three cables: battery to starter switch, switch to starter, and ground.
My H was converted to 12 volt. Does a twelve volt battery have the same size posts as a six-volt?
Is there something else I should know? Electricity has always been a weak subject for me.
