SC Puller: Yes the narrow front does bolt right up to same plate as the wide front control arm. I not sure the SC uses the same principle as a steering stop as the larger H and M. On the H and M one of the four bolts that bolt up the narrow front has a long head as a stop to stop narrow front from turning too sharp. There is a gruve in the casting above that steering plate for the long head bolt to run in and act as a stop. The SC may have a stop within the steering box itself. Once you get the wide front off, that can be quite quickly checked. You may well find you tractor with wide front already has the long head bolt in place. Most H and M had it regardless of wide or narrow front.
