The following is from memory but most of the details should be correct: The plows in question were manufactured at IH's P&O Plow Works. IH purchased the P&O Plow Company and numerous other small equipment manufacturers during the teens and twenties. Most the small companies were either shut down or consolidated with others. The P&O works was keep in production. They manufactured mostly the Little Genius #8 model plow. The P&O prefix on the part # remained until IH changed the casting molds for the parts. The prefix was then changed to CP, just like all other plows manufactured by IH. You plow was probably manufactured before 1939. The paint scheme was: 2150 Red for the main beams & levers, Dark blue for the bottoms, and Cream for the wheels. there are paint codes for these shades but I have painted several of these plows using a receipe to mix regular paint together. They look good and its much cheaper. If you want the mixing directions contact me and I'll try to find them. Hope this helps.
