LK, I had to replace my Super C's battery a few months ago and I took it out the left side. My SC has a fast hitch which had two hydraulic hoses running along the right side of the battery. Instead of dealing with the hoses all I had to do to remove it out the left side was to disconnect one of the lift all control rods from the reservior and control unit by removing a cotter pin. The choke rod as noted by Hugh was not in the way and was above the battery in that area. I think you will be able to determine which will be easier in your case with a quick look at your tractor. Good Luck and using it for a while you might just have to go get your own as they are really a nice smaller tractor. Hal
