I tried to help a guy that had the exact same problem. Without seeing the road box first hand, it is hard to tell, but on mine, the yoke is splined and fits inside the inner gear. Look it over carefully to see if there is any evidence of a parting line between two parts. Otherwise, it may be screwed together, but I have not seen this. My F-20 and Regular both have splined yokes. I can email you a photo of mine disassembled.
