Check the firing order (1-3-4-2) to make sure the spark plug wires are on correct. Make sure that the magneto timing is correct. If that checks out, take out the number one spark plug and put your finger over the spark plug hole. Turn the engine over by hand until you feel pressure coming out of the spark plug. If don't feel pressure, you probably have a stuck exhaust valve on that cylinder. If you have pressure and the spark plug wires are right then check the valve clearance to make sure it is correct.
