Larry. Dont do that. If all you asked them to do was check it out. Then they forgot about it until you called. So then they forgot what you asked for. So they rebuild it. Let them eat it. Just say Hey I never authorized you to rebuild it. I just wanted you to check it out and let me know if it was still good. I think there was miss comunication on both you guys. But that shouldnt cost you $500.
